All about our in-house Lead Physical Therapist
Abha Nulkar has over 15 years experience in myriad of settings. After graduation from UCSF school for Masters of Physical Therapy, she advanced her love of the craft with a residency in Orthopedic and Manual Therapy (Australian approach).
She has used and built on this knowledge in outpatient setting working with clients following knee, shoulder and back surgeries helping them get back to optimal function.
Sports injuries in ages ranging from children to seniors are ubiquitous with dedication to a single sport. Abha’s treatment have helped soccer players, golfer and runners get back to the sport and prevent further injuries. Abha has experience working in hospital setting which gives her insight into the continuum of care.
She has 8 years experience working with the older adult population (65+) and is tuned into their acute needs and issues. Working with seniors in their home, Abha has expertise in safety assessments followed by balance training, environmental modification to maintain independence.
